Is the Lord leading you...

We are seeking other like-minded believers longing for Christian fellowship and community interested in meeting as a house church near Campbell, MN. I have 9 years of pastoral experience, have been taught the scriptures in 2 years of bible-school, 4 years of a bachelor’s degree in ministry as well as a 4 year seminary degree.

A sample of what I believe:

  • I believe in an extremely high view of Scripture. God’s Word is the only authority for all of life and doctrine. I believe God’s Word is fully sufficient and highly-effective (Isaiah 55:8–9; 2 Timothy 3:16–17).
  • I believe in Lordship salvation. Truthfully trusting in Jesus as your Savior and your Lord is the only true saving faith. Our lives will demonstrate this through repentance and faith. (Matthew 7:21–23; Philippians 2:9–11; Jude 4; Romans 10:9-10).
  • I believe a biblical separation from the world and worldliness increases just as the exposure to sin and unrighteousness increase. (Romans 12:1-2; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18; James 1:27; Revelation 18:4).
  • I believe in mutual, humble and loving accountability. Commonly called church discipline, this ought to be done soberly, graciously, and lovingly according to the Lord’s Word and the apostles’ teaching. (Matthew 18:15-20; Acts 20:26–31; 1 Corinthians 5:11–13; Galatians 6:1-5; Jude 3)
  • I believe home-schooling children is God’s will. The biblical design of discipleship and education is to be done by the parents in the home. (Psalm 1; Proverbs 22:6 Deuteronomy 6:4-9)
  • I believe mankind is called to “fill the Earth.” This is one of God’s divine commands given to all mankind. (Genesis 1:28) I believe that Children are a reward and gift from God no true believer should reject or delay receiving. (Psalm 127)
  • I believe in the community of believers is to be the center of life and one of the greatest priorities the true believer devotes himself and his family to. (Romans 12:10; Hebrews 10:25).
  • I believe in the command of God for the head uncovering of men in worship, prayer and teaching (1 Cor 11:2-16). I also believe in the command for the head covering of women in worship, prayer and teaching (1 Cor 11:2-16).  These were taught and obeyed by the church for 1900 years, until the current feminist movement.
  • I believe the Lord’s day is the new covenant practice of the Sabbath, on the first day of the week. (Exodus 20:8–11; Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 16:2).
  • I believe it is men’s biblical role to be providers and selfless heads of their homes (1 Timothy 5:8; Ephesians 5:22–33).
  • I believe it is women’s biblical role to work at home, in submission to their own husbands without teaching or exercising authority over men (1 Timothy 2:11–15; 5:14; Titus 2:3–5).
  • I believe in the a biblical standard of modesty and purity. That all people should not show or look upon other’s bodies, especially the opposite gender. The authority and sufficiency of scripture reveal that what God calls “proper clothing” and “nakedness” (Genesis 3:7, 10-11, 21; Exodus 28:40–43; Isaiah 47:2–3; Matthew 5:27–30; 1 Timothy 2:9–10; Revelation 16:15).
  • I believe in the abstinence of alcohol and mind-altering drugs (Proverbs 20:1; Ephesians 5:18; 1 Peter 5:8-9).

I provide this sample of my beliefs knowing that no gathering of believers will be perfectly like minded. Still, as families are transparent and humble, they can find some mutually agreed upon convictions to be hold to together, and discuss the others in order to “spur one another on to love and good deeds.” (Hebrews 10:24)
