4 Reasons to be Thankful
From my pastor’s sermon today, from the Word of God.
- Give thanks to God, simply because you exist!
Acts 17:26–28 He made from one man every nation of mankind to inhabit all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and exist… - Give thanks to God, if He has chosen and adopted you!
Ephesians 1:4–5 …He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him in love, by predestining us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will… - Give thanks to God, because you are commanded to!
Psalm 107:1 Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for He is good, For His lovingkindness endures forever. - Give thanks to God, no matter what happens!
1 Thessalonians 5:18 in everything give thanks, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Happy Thanksgiving!! Remember the reason why this HOLY-day was started. To give thanks to God for all He does and who He is. Especially to celebrate His provision after bringing in the harvest each year, through which He feeds our nation. To thank Him in unison as a nation. For His glory in all things!
